With temps around 70 and April starting, doing a thermal treatment makes a lot of sense. There is also still time to treat in other ways if you haven’t already. Here’s the thing, you want mites under control before you super your hives. So if you use a longer term treatment, like Apivar, be prepared to pull them earlier than intended in order to take advantage of the flow. Add space, cut swarm cells, etc. as needed and be sure to test/count mites before using any treatment they could be building resistance to. :-) I’ll try to do a couple of videos this week.
