2nd Workshop and Field Training

We will start with a brief overview and some basics before going out into the bee yard to see and use live examples, techniques, etc. ***NOTE: THIS WILL BE SOMEWHAT INFORMAL*** and will vary based on the experience level of the participants, weather, and available resources. Some topics that will be covered each time include mite counts, inspections, standard and chem free treatment methods, space/resource management, lighting and running a smoker, and more. ***NOTE! Avoid strong floral/herbal scented body sprays, lotions etc. and remain calm. This is a working farm, with uneven ground, rusty sharp pointy things, and a variety of animals. Participation is at your own risk and by entering the property you will assume any and all liability relative to this type of experience. If you prefer a more formalized educational experience, please use the online training at the main website. If you prefer 1 on 1, smaller group training, or want to ride along to assist, please make appropriate arrangments at a later date.
